Our Return & Care Policy
At The Cove Tea Company, we take immense pride in the craftsmanship of our small batch harvests and the curated beauty of our tea wares.
Because our collections are artisanal and often ephemeral, we have established the following guidelines to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety for our community.
Artisanal Blends & Provisions
To maintain the integrity and safety of our tea and food products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on any consumable items once they have left our care. This includes all loose leaf teas, tea bombs, and culinary treats from our retail pantry.
We appreciate your understanding in helping us preserve the purity of our collections.
Tea Wares & Accessories
We select our accessories for their elegance and utility. Should a piece arrive in a condition that is less than perfect — whether damaged in transit or possessing a structural defect — we invite you to reach out so we may assist you.

The Process: Please contact our team within 14 days of receiving your order. To help us understand the concern, kindly include a photograph of the defect.
- The Resolution: Once the damage or defect is confirmed, you may return the item to us in its original packaging. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Upon receipt and inspection, we will issue a store credit for the value of the item, which may be used toward a replacement piece or any other selection from our online boutique.
Wholesale Partnerships
Our wholesale relationships are built on a shared appreciation for quality and craftsmanship. Because our inventory is carefully curated and often limited in volume, authorized returns for tea wares — outside of transit damage or structural defects — are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
As with our retail provisions, all tea and food products are final sale.
We remain committed to the success of our partners; should your boutique face a significant transition, such as a permanent closure, please reach out to us personally to discuss potential discretionary support for unopened inventory.
Order Cancellations
For our Ritual Renewal subscribers, we ask for 72 hours’ notice prior to your next scheduled harvest to pause or adjust your delivery. This allows us the time necessary to prepare your selection with the care it deserves.
